  • I heard they are closing Hawrelak Park for repairs. What is happening to Heritagefest?
Thanks for asking. The 49th Edmonton Heritage Festival (Heritagefest) is in its long time home, Hawrelak Park, for the summer of 2022. As we understand it today, we will be out of the park starting in 2023 with an expected return of 2026. In 2019 the Edmonton Heritage Festival Association created a committee to investigate a temporary home for the festival. We produced a list of sites and forwarded them to to City of Edmonton staff and have been working dilligently since, trying to find a home. Now the new temporary home for Heritagefest will be at Edmonton EXPO Centre & Exhibition Grounds!
  • What date is the festival in summer 2024?
